(A) Each office or department shall maintain an inventory of all fixed assets (that is, all furniture, fixtures and equipment within its department or office).
(B) Such inventory shall include all items within the office or department having a value at acquisition of $10,000 or more.
(C) This inventory shall be updated no less than annually and submitted to the Auditor of the county on or before December 15 of each year.
(D) In the event of trade in upon replacement, sale, depreciation (that is the value is then less than the minimum stated herein), transfer to another office or department notation shall be made upon the inventory wherein an item is deleted.
(E) This section shall be effective upon passage and shall be distributed to all office holders and departments.
