A County Sheriff’s Department “Boot Camp Fund” is hereby established and that the same shall be implemented as follows.
(A) All funds received as donations shall be deposited with the County Treasurer and accounted for by the County Auditor.
(B) Disbursement shall be made from such fund by manner of claim by the Department up to amount of the fund or expense of the program.
(C) The funds so deposited shall not be subject to budget or appropriation as is normally required for governmental expenditures.
(D) The Sheriff’s Department shall be notified of the passage of this section, and shall forthwith deposit all donation funds held by them to the Treasurer of the county, to designate if the funds should be earmarked for a particular purpose.
