All underground storage tanks shall be removed and disposed of in accordance with any applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and while the Village Fire Inspector is on site to witness such removal. The permittee shall notify the Village Fire Inspector, in writing, of any underground storage tank removal at least three (3) business days prior to the removal. Where cisterns or cesspools exist, the permittee shall notify the Village Building Inspector in writing of the existence of the same at least three days prior to the filling or destruction thereof. Cisterns and/or cesspools shall be emptied with the contents disposed of as prescribed by law, with the cavities or voids filled with approved material of the type set forth in Section 1346.09
