1343.08 RELIANCE ON CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION AND COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE.
   (a)   In issuing a Certificate of Inspection, the Village does not ensure, warrant, or guarantee to the holder thereof, to the holder's assignees or any other interested party that such Certificate of Inspection contains all violations of the Codified Ordinances of the Village or the laws of the State of Ohio. Such Certificate of Inspection is deemed the best efforts of the Village to inform the owners and purchasers of the known conditions of the subject premises relating to compliance with the smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector requirements set forth in Chapter 1359, compliance with exterior property maintenance requirements set forth in Chapter 1351 and Chapter 1365, correction of any determination by the Building Commissioner that a safety hazard exists at the premises and, when a septic system and/or private water system is located on the premises of a dwelling, compliance with CCGHD household sewage treatment system and private water system requirements. A copy of this section, or a digest thereof, shall be contained in each Certificate of Inspection.
   (b)   In issuing a Compliance Certificate, the Village does not thereby ensure, warrant, or guarantee the quality of repair or standard of work completed in the correction of violations listed on the Certificate of Inspection. Such document shall be construed only as a statement by the Village that some or all of the violations listed on the Certificate of Inspection have been corrected to the Village's satisfaction. A copy of this section, or a digest thereof, shall be contained in each Compliance Certificate. (Ord. 2015-55. Passed 6-17-15.)
