(a) The point-of-sale inspection required by this chapter shall:
(1) Determine compliance with the residential smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector requirements set forth in Chapter 1359,;
(3) Determine whether, in the opinion of the Building Commissioner, any condition exists at the premises which constitutes a safety hazard;
(4) When a septic system is located on the premises of a dwelling, determine compliance with CCGHD household sewage treatment system; and,
(5) When a private water system is located on the premises of a dwelling, determine compliance with CCGHD private water system requirements.
(c) This chapter, with respect to rental dwellings, as defined in Chapter 1363, regardless of whether such rental dwelling is registered in accordance with Chapter 1363, also requires the disclosure of any known Code violations.
(d) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as limiting the Village, at any time, from proceeding against the owner of any property for violation of any other ordinances.
(e) This chapter shall apply to the sale, transfer, or conveying of all or part of a dwelling covered under this chapter, or the land upon which such dwelling is located, when the actual ownership, operation or control of the dwelling, or the land upon which such dwelling is located, is sold, transferred, or conveyed to a different individual or individuals, or to a different entity or entities regardless of whether or not the dwelling, or the land upon which such dwelling is located, is managed or owned, in whole or in part, by the same person or persons or entity.
