Whoever violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. Any such violation shall constitute a separate offense on each successive day continued. The Building Commissioner prior to citing or denying the issuance of a license registration to any contractor for violations under the provisions of this chapter, shall inform the Mayor, in writing, with copies to all members of Council. Upon approval of the Mayor to proceed, the Building Commissioner shall carry out the provisions of this chapter.
