(a) The Mayor is hereby authorized to sell, through public internet auctions, on an as needed basis, various obsolete, surplus and nonfunctioning Village vehicles, materials, tools, supplies and/or equipment no longer needed for Village operations and is authorized to enter into agreements and execute any other documentation that may be necessary sell such items through public internet auctions.
(b) The bidding period for each item available through public internet auction shall be open for a minimum period of fourteen (14) calendar days. All internet auction sales shall be final and all items shall be sold in “as is” condition. All Village logos, seals, emblems or other marks identifying any item as Village property shall be removed prior to transfer of the item.
(c) The Mayor shall maintain a list of all items sold at internet auction.
