953.03 QUALIFICATION CRITERIA.
   In order to qualify for participation in the Senior Citizens and Physically/Mentally Disabled Snow Removal Program, all of the following criteria must be satisfied:
   (a)   The applicant must be either:
      (1)   Sixty years of age or older; or
      (2)   Physically/mentally disabled and provide documentation from a licensed physician.
   (b)   The total annual gross household income, which includes but is not limited to social security, pensions, and interest on accounts, of all adults residing in the residence must be no greater than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). Proof of total gross household income in the form of the latest federal income tax return must be provided to the Village Treasurer’s Office;
   (c)   The applicant must not reside with an able-bodied individual capable of removing snow;
   (d)   The applicant must own and occupy the home and have his/her name on the deed or life estate;
   (e)   The applicant must be current on the home’s real estate property taxes and RITA income taxes.
