(A) License required. It is unlawful for any person or entity to own, lease, rent, manage, or operate an adult establishment without a valid license issued by the city pursuant to this chapter.
(B) Existing businesses. Within ten (10) working days of the effective date of this chapter, any existing adult establishment must apply for a license from the city. Failure to apply for a license is a violation of this chapter and is subject to penalty under § 118.99. An existing adult establishment may continue to operate pending review of the license application by the city.
