A. Every new owner of a rental unit (whether as fee owner or contract purchaser) shall be required to furnish to the housing division the new owner's name, address and phone number, and the name, address and phone number of the owner's designated local manager before taking possession of the rental property upon closing of the transaction.
B. Every new owner of a rental unit (whether as fee owner or a contract purchaser) shall call the city to have said property inspected pursuant to section 9-7-11 of this chapter within thirty (30) days of the transfer of the rental property, and shall pay a transfer fee as determined by the city pursuant to section 9-7-8 of this chapter to the city of Moorhead.
C. Every owner of property currently being utilized as a single-family housing unit, who is considering converting the property to a rental property, may have the property inspected prior to completing the conversion. The inspection shall be in accordance with section 9-7-11, "Inspections And Investigations", of this chapter. (Ord. 2005-30, 12-5-2005)
