5-1-11: MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVERS' LICENSES 1 :
   A.   No persons shall operate or drive any motor vehicle upon any street or highway in the city unless they have a valid license as a driver, appropriate to the vehicle which they are operating and issued by the state of their residence.
   B.   No persons shall operate or drive any motor vehicle upon any street or highway in the city while their license is under suspension or under revocation, pursuant to authority granted by state law to said commissioner of highways of the department of public safety for the state of Minnesota, or when their driving privileges are suspended or revoked by the appropriate agency of the state of their residence or the agency issuing their driver's license.
