It shall be unlawful for any person, partnership or corporation to operate or cause to be operated, any vehicle or other modes of transportation for the purpose of street vending, as the same is defined in § 110.35 of this code, upon and over the streets, alleys or other public highways of the town unless such person, partnership or corporation shall have first obtained a license to do so and shall have in other respects conformed to the provisions of this subchapter.
