§ 92.31 ENFORCEMENT AND INSPECTION.
   (A)   The Fire Chief and the deputies designated by the Fire Chief of the town are hereby authorized and empowered to enforce the fire code adopted in § 92.30 of this code on behalf of the town within the jurisdiction of the town pursuant to I.C. 36-7-2-9.
   (B)   The Fire Chief and those designated deputies for the town are hereby authorized to enter upon property located within the town that is not a residential structure and inspect said property and in any and all improvements thereon for the purpose of enforcing said fire code.
   (C)   The Building Commissioner, or his or her designated representative, shall assist the Fire Department in the inspection of buildings and structures to provide minimum standards in design and construction and shall provide reports of such inspection to the Fire Chief.
   (D)   The Police Chief for the town may, upon request of the Fire Chief or his or her designated deputy, assign such available law enforcement officers as may be necessary to assist the town’s Fire Department, Fire Chief or designated deputy, in the enforcement of this subchapter.
