§ 92.03 PUBLIC FIRE HYDRANTS.
   (A)   The town shall restrict the use of any public fire hydrant, PUBLIC FIRE HYDRANT being defined as any fire hydrant located on the right-of-way of the town, to representatives of the town’s Fire and Street Departments or the water company employees, their engineers or contractors.
   (B)   Anyone desiring to use a public hydrant shall first contact the town’s Fire Department and request permission to have the Fire Department meet them to open the hydrant. In the event of an emergency, the town’s police dispatcher shall be contacted for a representative of the town’s Fire Department to be present to open the hydrant and the party using the water shall keep records on the amount used and turn the same into the water company, or its successors and assigns.
   (C)   In the event of non-emergency situations, the town’s Fire Department shall refer the request to the water company to allow them to make arrangements for obtaining the water through the hydrant located at the water company’s main office in the town.
