§ 53.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, may be punished by a fine of not more than $300 or by imprisonment for not more than 30 days or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day said violation occurs shall be a separate offense.
   (B)   Failure to comply with the requirements of § 53.003 shall constitute a misdemeanor offense punishable by a fine not to exceed $1,000 and/or imprisonment in the County Jail for up to six months. Each day of violation shall be a new and separate offense.
