§ 90.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   (1)   Violation(s) of this chapter for failure to license and/or for animals at large is an infraction punishable by the fixed infraction penalty set out in the state code.
      (2)   All other violations of this chapter are misdemeanors punishable by a fine only up to $1,000.
   (B)   Any violation of § 90.02 by an owner, keeper or harborer of a poisonous or dangerous reptile, bird or other animal by keeping or harboring such a poisonous or dangerous reptile, bird or other animal without a special use permit, or by failing to comply with the special use permit, shall be deemed a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, said owner, keeper or harborer shall be fined in a sum not less than $25 nor more than $300 for each day in violation hereof.
