The Mayor shall have been a resident and qualified elector of the Municipality for at least two years immediately prior to election and shall continue to be a resident and qualified elector of the Municipality throughout the term of office.
Except as provided by or under this Charter, the Mayor may not hold any other compensated office or position of employment with the Municipality, nor shall the Mayor hold any other compensated elected office.
The Mayor shall forfeit such office in the event of being called to full-time military service for a period exceeding sixty-one days.
