(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
(B) Any person who violates any provision of §§ 94.45 through 94.47 shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished not more than the maximum penalty as prescribed by state law. In addition, any peace officer who observes any person violate any provisions of §§ 94.45 through 94.47 is authorized to seize the offender’s roller skates/blades, skateboard, or scooter and to hold same at the County Sheriff’s Department or city’s Police Department. In the event of such seizure, the offender, if an adult, may secure the return of the article seized after 24 hours have elapsed since the seizure. In the case of a minor, the article seized shall be returned only to the parent or guardian of the minor offender after 24 hours have elapsed since the seizure.
