§ 91.11 RESTRICTIONS ON NUMBER OF DOGS OR CATS.
   No more than three dogs or three cats (except in the case of littermates less than six months of age) shall be kept, harbored, raised, or possessed at any single residence, location, or premises within the city, except where such keeping, harboring, raising, or possessing is incidental to the operation of an animal hospital, a kennel properly licensed by the Township Trustee, or agricultural pursuit, which is not located entirely on property zoned as "residential" within the city. The keeping, harboring, raising, possessing of more than said number of such dogs or cats, except where same is incidental to the animal hospital, kennel, or agricultural pursuit, is declared a nuisance and dangerous to the public health, safety, and welfare. In addition to the penalties provided for this chapter, any person violating this section may be ordered to abate the nuisance.
