(A) It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to remove from the streets of the city all vehicles which are in direct violation of §§ 72.01 and 72.55.
(B) An accurate account of all expenses incurred in the towing and storage of vehicles removed from the streets of the city for violation of §§ 72.01 and 72.55 shall be kept by the Chief of Police, and the expense of such removal shall be paid in full by the owner of vehicles so removed.
