§ 31.01 CREATION AND INITIAL HIRING PROCEDURES.
   (A)   By virtue of the power granted in R.C. § 715.05, there is created a fire department to be known as the Fire Department of Montgomery, Ohio.
   (B)   Other than as provided in this section, the employees of the Fire Department, with the exception of those employees exempted by the Charter of the City of Montgomery, shall be considered to be within the classified service of the city and shall be subject to its civil service regulations.
