8-4-8: SEWER CONNECTION RULES:
The following rules must be observed and carried out in all work relating to sewer connection:
   A.   Connections with sewers must be made with the slant already put in by the City.
   B.   Deviations from the foregoing requirements may be made if the Utilities Superintendent thinks best; but his or her written consent must be obtained before any such change is made.
   C.   Any new connections made must be made within the middle third of the interior height of the sewer connected with.
   D.   All connection pipes must be laid in a true line from sewer to the curb, in an open trench and before refilling is done.
   E.   All the joints of sewer pipes must be made as required by the Plumbing Code in effect in the City. (Ch. 79, 1-1-1922)
   F.   In order to assure that the filling of cuts in streets, avenues, alleys and public grounds is done according to City standards, the City shall do such filling and charge the costs thereof to the owner of the land benefited thereby as provided in Section 8-4-6 of this Chapter.
