§ 12.28.030 FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT LEVEES, CHANNELS OR RIGHTS-OF-WAY— OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES PROHIBITED THEREON.
   (A)   Every person, except city officers, officials, agents, and employees, and persons specifically authorized by the city, who operates any motor vehicle on or over any levee, flood control channel or other right-of-way of the Los Angeles County Flood Control District without the written permission of the Los Angeles County Flood Control District, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
   (B)   This section does not apply to the operation of a motor vehicle on the traveled portion of any public highway.
