§ 12.24.030 MOVING, CUTTING, DEFACING OR INJURING PROHIBITED WITHOUT PERMIT.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to move, cut, deface, mutilate or injure in any manner, any tree within the outside boundaries of any street or highway in the city, without first having obtained a permit from the City Council so to do, and any person violating the provisions of this section, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined or imprisoned or both as provided elsewhere in this code.
