§ 10.16.010 CURB MARKINGS—MEANINGS.
   (A)   When the following curb markings appear on any of the curbs of the streets within the city, such curb markings shall have the meanings as set forth in this section:
      (1)   Red indicates no stopping, standing or parking, whether the vehicle is attended or unattended, except that a bus may stop in a red zone marked or signposted as a bus loading zone.
      (2)   Yellow indicates stopping between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day, except Sunday only for the purpose of loading or unloading passengers or freight, which shall not exceed 20 minutes, except in the case of a yellow zone marked or signposted as a school bus loading zone.
      (3)   White indicates stopping only for loading or unloading of passengers, which shall not exceed three minutes or for the purpose of depositing mail in an adjacent mailbox.
      (4)   Green indicates 20 minutes maximum parking between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day, except Sunday.
         (a)   At 401 West Colorado;
         (b)   At 225 South Ivy; and
         (c)   At Palm Avenue between Encinitas Avenue and Ivy Avenue.
      (5)   Blue indicates parking limited exclusively to the vehicles of physically handicapped persons.
   (B)   All curbs within the city as provided in this section are hereby designated, ratified and approved as red, yellow, white, green or blue zones respectively, and the provisions of this chapter shall become applicable and be in full force and effect as to such zones.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful to park adjacent to any marked curb in violation of any of the provisions of this section.
