§ 6.04.040 VIOLATION—PENALTY.
   Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this law shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, at the discretion of the City Manager, or his or her designee, may be subject to a civil fine pursuant to a citation as set forth in Chapter 1.17 of Title 1 of this code. A conviction of a misdemeanor shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed six months, or by both fine and imprisonment. Each person shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for every day during any portion of which any violation of any provision of this law is committed, continued or permitted by such person, firm or corporation, and shall be punishable therefor as provided by this section.
