§ 2.60.010 COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED—COMPOSITION.
   There is established as a part of the government of the city, a Traffic Safety Committee, which shall have five members, consisting of the Director of Public Works, the Chief of Police, the Director of Community Development, the Engineering Division Manager, and the City Traffic Engineer. In the event there is no City Traffic Engineer, a member of the general public having particular interest in the traffic safety shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. The Committee shall choose a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary from among its members. Any member of the Committee who was unable to attend a meeting may designate a member of his department as an alternate.
