§ 2.08.010 ELECTION—TERM OF OFFICE.
   The office of the Mayor is hereby created and established. The Mayor shall be elected by the voters of the city at each general municipal election. The person elected at such election as Mayor shall hold office from the date the election results are certified and they are seated, until their successor is elected and qualifies.
