§ 2.04.030 APPOINTMENT—RESIDENCY.
   Residence in the city at the time of appointment of a City Manager shall not be required as a condition of the appointment. However, residency is strongly encouraged within 180 days after appointment, unless the City Council finds residence outside the city is appropriate.
