(A) The resident of each district to be elected to the Board of Trustees must be a bona fide resident of that district at the time of his nomination and election to the position.
(B) If a duly elected member of the Board of Trustees ceases to be a resident of the district from which he was elected, the membership of the Board of Trustees shall be considered to be vacated and the same shall be filled, and a successor shall be appointed pursuant to the appropriate state laws.
