(A) Upon written application, duly verified under oath, setting forth that the applicant has produced such license and may be required by Allen County, Indiana, and by the laws of the state then in force, the Clerk-Treasurer may issue to the applicant a license permitting the applicant for a period for which it is paid for, to sell such goods, wares, or merchandise as such applicant may lawfully sell.
(B) The license fee shall be $2 per day or fraction thereof and shall be paid in cash prior to the issuance of the license.
