§ 110.01 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   It shall be unlawful for any auction establishment, transient salesmen, merchant, peddlers, hucksters, and itinerant vendors of goods, wares, and merchandise of whatever nature, whether denominated bankrupt stocks, fire sales, assignees' sales, or by any other term used for the purpose of attracting trade, whether by the owner or by agents, hereinafter called person, to barter, sell, or offer for sale, any goods, wares, and merchandise of any nature, in, upon, or along any street, or in temporary quarters, or in going from house to house, including business houses, taking orders for any article herein named for future delivery within the town without first obtaining a license from the Clerk-Treasurer to do so. This does not apply to salesmen selling wholesale to permanent retail dealers or sales handled in interstate commerce, on which orders are taken for future delivery.
