If any such order to remove a junk motor vehicle as provided in this chapter has been so served and is not obeyed within the time stated, or if the town police officer has issued a citation, the owner of the junk motor vehicle, the occupant and/or owner of the real estate upon which it is located shall each be guilty of violation of this chapter and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine in an amount of $100. Each day the junk motor vehicle is permitted to remain on the real estate after the time fixed in the order to remove it or after the citation shall constitute a separate offense.
