§ 98.03 ORDER TO REMOVE.
   (A)   The town police officer may order any junk motor vehicle removed from any premises in the town within 48 hours after service or posting of notice as hereinafter provided or in lieu of such notice, may immediately issue a citation against the owner of the junk motor vehicle, the owner of the real estate, and/or the occupant of the real estate if the occupant of the real estate can exercise control over the junk motor vehicle. However, in the case of a bona fide emergency, the above named officials may cause the junk motor vehicle to be removed immediately.
   (B)   The order to remove the junk motor vehicle shall be placed upon the junk motor vehicle, and copies thereof can be served upon any owner and/or occupant of the real estate on which the junk motor vehicle is located, and upon the owner of the junk motor vehicle, if known. If no owner, or occupant of the real estate or owner of the junk motor vehicle can be found, a copy thereof may be affixed to any building on the real estate, and shall constitute notice to the owner and occupant of the real estate and to the owner of the junk motor vehicle. If there is no building on the real estate, the order may be affixed elsewhere on the real estate.
