§ 96.07 CERTAIN PROHIBITED NOISES PECULIAR TO MOTOR VEHICLES.
   The following acts associated with motor vehicles in violation of this chapter are declared to be a public nuisance:
   (A)   The continuous or repeated sounding of any horn or noise device of a motor vehicle when not necessary as a danger signal. “Continuous” shall be defined to include unnecessary or unreasonable periods of time.
   (B)   The use of any appurtenances in a motor vehicle which create unnecessary loud noise or grating, grinding, or rattling noise not necessary to the operation of the motor vehicle.
   (C)   The use of any motor vehicle with or without the attachment of various appurtenances thereto which creates loud noise or unnecessary grating, grinding, or rattling. This shall include the use of any vehicle which causes excessive noise as a result of a defective or modified exhaust system, or as a result of unnecessary rapid acceleration, deceleration, revving the engine, or tire squeal.
