§ 52.05 PAYMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF REFUSE AND WASTE SERVICES.
   The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to collect $12.50 per month, per residence, for each residence authorized to receive such service under the contract. The Clerk-Treasurer may bill either tenant or landlord when a unit is being rented and may bill either Contract Seller or Contract Buyer when a residence is being sold on contract. In either event, if the service is not paid for by a tenant or landlord, Contract Buyer or Contract Seller, the other shall be liable. If all residents are going to be absent from a residence for a period not less than four consecutive weeks, a resident can notify the Clerk-Treasurer, in writing, of the dates of such absences not less than two weeks in advance, and the Clerk- Treasurer shall not bill such resident for those weeks of absence. Only the Clerk-Treasurer or the President of Town Council shall be authorized to direct the waste collection contractor not to provide service.
