(A) Notice. An applicant for a planned district authorizing a major subdivision and an applicant for minor subdivision final plat approval shall be informed by the planning department of the use and construction restrictions of any portion of the land to be subdivided if it lies within a floodway or floodplain.
(B) Plat. Final plat approval for any subdivision containing land that lies within a floodway or floodplain may not be given unless the plat shows the boundary of the floodway or floodplain and contains in clearly discernible print the following statement: “Use of land within a floodplain is substantially restricted by the Chapter 152: Historic Properties in the Monroe Code of Ordinance.”
