(A) City Fire Personnel shall have all of the powers, responsibilities, authorities, rights, privileges, and immunities, including coverage under the workers’ compensation laws, invested by this code, statute, or common law within the corporate limits of the City, on all property owned by or leased to the City wherever located, and as authorized in G.S. 160A-293 and G.S. 58-83-1.
(B) The Fire Chief shall have full authority to send, or decline to send, fire fighters and apparatus outside the corporate limits of the City of Monroe for mutual aid assistance.
