(A) The Town Marshal is authorized to charge a fee for furnishing an accident report to any person requesting the report.
(B) The fees, when collected, shall be deposited with the Town Clerk-Treasurer at least on a weekly basis and deposited in the “Accident Record Account”. The funds may thereafter be expended by the Marshal for purposes related to the keeping of accident reports and records for the prevention of street and highway accidents when authorized by the Marshal and on the basis of a claim filed and allowed in the manner provided by law.
