(A) No Contract Of Sale: No person, firm, or corporation proposing to make or have made a subdivision within the city or the area within the extraterritorial plat approval jurisdiction of the city shall enter into any contract for the sale of or shall offer to sell said subdivision or any part thereof until he has obtained the tentative approval of the preliminary plat of the proposed subdivision.
(B) No Construction Of Land: No person, firm, or corporation proposing to make or have made a subdivision within the city, or the area within the extraterritorial plat approval jurisdiction of the city shall proceed with any construction work on the proposed subdivision, including grading, until he has obtained the tentative approval of the preliminary plat of the proposed subdivision.
(C) Not Entitled To Record: No plat of any subdivision shall be recorded in the appropriate county recorder's office, or have any validity, until it has been approved in the manner prescribed by law. (Ord. 455, 4-21-1997)
