5-1-2: CHIEF OF POLICE:
   A.   Office Created: There is hereby created the office of chief of police. The chief of police shall be appointed by the village president, by and with the approval of the village board of trustees 1 .
   B.   Duties Of The Chief: The chief of police shall be responsible to fulfill all duties as outlined in the personnel code. (1983 Code)
