(A) It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to own, maintain or operate any game of pool and billiards and/or bowling alley for profit without having first obtained a license from the municipality. Any person desiring a license to operate, maintain or own a pool and billiards table for profit, or any bowling alley, shall file a written application with the Municipal Clerk-Treasurer. Said application form shall contain such information and documents, or copies thereof, as the governing body deems necessary to determine whether to grant or reject the application.
(B) Upon determination that the granting of the license would be beneficial to the municipality, the governing body shall immediately direct the Municipal Clerk-Treasurer to issue the license to the applicant upon the payment of a fee set by resolution of the governing body. Said license shall be subject to revocation at any time for good and sufficient cause by the governing body upon the issuance of proper notice and a hearing, if the licensee should make such a request.
(C) Any person or persons so licensed shall be subject to any bond, fees or other rules and regulations as may be set by resolution of the governing body for the benefit of the municipality.
