§ 50.27 SERVICE WIRES; CONNECTION, CONDITIONS.
   The municipality will run its service wires to the property line of the owner of the property, charging only for the actual cost of materials, labor and installation; provided, that such owner’s wires are pronounced properly put up and safe and in good condition by the Utilities Superintendent of said municipality, and the wiring of said premises has been done in accordance with the requirements of the electrical code in force at the time, but under no circumstances shall connection be made with the wires of the system of said municipality except by an employee of the municipality. The city hereby reserves the right at all times to have free access to the premises in which current is being used or is to be used, to investigate and determine if wiring has been done and if electricity is being distributed and used in the proper manner, in conformity with the codes, ordinances, rules and regulations of the municipality.
