(A) All garbage and refuse for collection by the village shall be placed in metal or plastic containers equipped with a cover and equipped with handles so that they can be lifted and carried by one person. The size of the container shall be in either 20-gallon cans or 30-gallon cans with a maximum weight of 50 pounds. The customer can, at his option, utilize plastic bags of similar weight, made of adequate strength and closed with a secure fastener.
(B) The village and the operator shall have the right to refuse to collect any garbage placed for collection not in compliance with this section.
