It shall be the duty of the Law Director to act as attorney and counsel for the Municipality and the officers thereof, in their official capacity, and to prosecute or defend all civil actions by or against the Municipality during the term of the Law Director's employment, to prepare all ordinances and resolutions, inspect all contracts and agreements, and/or prepare the same, and to render legal opinions to Council upon its request.
