1335.08 CONFLICT, SEVERABILITY; EFFECTIVE DATE.
   (a)   Conflict. If any portion of this chapter is found to be in conflict with any other provision of any zoning, building, fire, safety, or health ordinance of the Village, the provision which establishes the higher standard shall prevail.
 
   (b)   Severability. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this chapter or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this chapter, or the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances is in effect and shall remain in full force and effect.
 
   (c)   Incompatibility. Any existing ordinances pertaining to the regulation of signs which may be in effect and are inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter are hereby repealed. Any and all legislation passed previously inconsistent with this chapter is hereby repealed.
 
   (d)   Effective Date. This chapter shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
