The Council may, by affirmative vote of at least two-thirds (2/3) of its members, submit to the electors any proposed amendment or amendments to this Charter; or upon petition signed by not less than ten (10) percent of the electors of the Municipality, setting forth any proposed amendment or amendments to this Charter, the Council shall submit such proposed amendment or amendments to the electors in accordance, in each instance, with the provisions of the Constitution and laws of Ohio now or hereafter in effect.
If any such proposed amendment or amendments shall be approved by a majority of the electors voting thereon, it or they shall become a part of this Charter; except that if two (2) or more inconsistent proposed amendments on the same subject shall be submitted at the same election, only the one (1) of such amendments receiving the largest affirmative vote, not less than a majority, shall become a part of this Charter.
