(A) The cost of residential refuse and garbage collected by the company selected by the village shall be $9.90 per month for the period October 1, 2007 to September 30, 2008, and $10.20 per month for the period October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009, and $10.50 per month for the period October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010, which shall be billed in advance by the village and sent to residents with their regular water bills. The residential refuse and garbage collection bill sent by the village shall become due and payable on the same due date as the water bills. If the residential refuse and garbage bill becomes past due, a delayed payment charge in the amount of 10% of the bill rendered shall be imposed and collected and shall continue at the rate of 10% penalty per month until paid.
(B) If the residential refuse and garbage collection bill is not paid within 30 days, the village shall have the right to discontinue both water service and residential refuse and garbage collection service for the delinquent residence. If water service is discontinued for a delinquent residence, no future connection shall be permitted until all costs and charges authorized by Chapter 52 are paid.
