§ 130.15 DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS PROHIBITED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any firearm or cannon or detonate any explosives with the corporate limits of the town, or to assist any other person or persons to engage in any such discharging or detonation unless such person or persons have been granted special permission to do so by the Town Marshal, provided, however, that this section does not apply in the following situations or circumstances:
   (A)   Any law enforcement officer who shall discharge a firearm within the lawful performance of his or her. . . MISSING MATERIAL
   (B)   Any personal who shall discharge a firearm in a shooting gallery pursuant to regulations established by the town;
   (C)   Any person who shall discharge a firearm in the protection of his or her life or property or in the protection of another person’s life when the surrounding facts or circumstances justify such action;
   (D)   The discharge of firearms during a ceremonial occasion (including practice drills), when permission has been received from either the Town Council or the Town Marshal; and
   (E)   The Fire Chief (or his or her designated representative) of the Clinton Township Fire Department for the purpose of a fireworks display for Independence Day celebrations, Farmers’ Day celebrations, or any other occasions for which permission has been granted by the Town Council.
