The members of the Design Review Board established by Section 1349.01 shall have, to the highest extent possible, a recognized knowledge or interest in architecture and/or historic preservation and a determination to work for the overall improvement of the quality of the physical environment of the Village. The Board members should include, if at all possible, the following: one downtown building owner, one Village Council member, one Planning & Zoning Board member and two members of the community who are preservation related professionals such as architects, contractors or developers with interest in preserving the historic integrity of the downtown. Any Board member may possess one or more of these qualifications at the same time. If possible, the members shall be residents of the Village; however it is recognized that it may not be possible to find Millersburg residents who are willing to serve and who possess the other qualifications.
